The Show module automatically
sequences the presentations into the correct order for final viewing and
projection, according to the specific meeting program. And, the Show module
controls the display of presentations for projection, eliminating the need
for hyperlink pages or for an audio/visual technician to cue talks within a
session. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
The user (who could be the
moderator, or even the presenter himself) simply selects the day the talk is
to take place, and then selects the session he wishes to open. Then, a click
on the “Show” button will cause the first PowerPoint presentation in that
session to take over the computer/projection screen in PowerPoint’s “full
screen” mode. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
At the conclusion of the first
talk, the operator simply hits the “Esc” key and is automatically returned to the Presenter’s “Show”
mode. If the operator’s purpose is to
continue presenting the next PowerPoint of that session in sequence he
would then simply click the “Next” button. This action will cause the
Presenter to select the next presentation according to the database for that
session, which would then take over the computer/projection screen in
PowerPoint’s “Full screen” mode. The effect here is a seamless,
non-technical procedure for sequencing multiple PowerPoint presentations
within a single session. |

New Show Interface
- Just click on the green button for the talk you want to launch - and
that is all there is to it. The Speaker Ready module does sequence the
talks in the correct order, but, users can easily select at random.

There are number of features
that make this mode a powerful tool for sequencing and presenting PowerPoint
files. The settings allow for a full-screen customized background to be
applied, providing for the conference client’s custom graphics to reside on
the screen acting as theme graphics.
The user will also be able to
search for a presentation by the presenters last name.
One of the unique values of
The Presenter is that the person who actually applies the settings to and
then operates the functions of the “show” mode can be the moderator, the
presenters themselves, or a speaker manager. Before the presenter, this
sequencing of presentations would be handled by a trained a/v technician,
incurring the expected budgetary expense.
The Show Mode also has a
button called, “Kiosk”, which allows users the opportunity to make changes
to a PowerPoint presentation by selecting a talk from the drop down menu and
clicking on the “work” button, which opens the selected talk in PowerPoint’s
“Normal” mode. There is an option here that may or may not demand a password
to modify the talk. This is security feature that will be controlled by the
administrator of Presentation management.

This screen displays the Show

session, rooms, or whatever. This background image can be any Windows bitmap
file (.bmp). Note how the background image fills the screen to all 4 edges.

PowerPoint presentations fill
the screen with exactly as they did before The PresenterTM.
