The Presenter^TM Kiosk, The Presentation Self Loading Wizard:

• Collects presentations for on-site submissions, and AUTOMATICALLY organizes the presentation files into a structure that corresponds to the meeting agenda,
• Is a Review Station for presenters to examine their talk and make changes,
• Automatically records the activity of submissions and changes to presentations.

1) Collecting Presentation Files - The Self-Loading Wizard
 

On-site presentation submissions take place through a self-loading wizard. Designed to direct and assist presenters in the task of loading their own PowerPoint (and video) files onto conference computers, users will be able to transfer his/her files from a medium which they carry (floppy, CD ROM, USB Memory Stick).

The Self-Loading Wizard AUTOMATICALLY saves the submitted files with the correct file-naming convention in the appropriate (pre-specified) location in the database. Users will follow on-screen prompts and instructions. Users can also add new presentations into the database.

Features 

• Search by presenter’s Last Name
• The presentations “owned” by that presenter show up in a box listing the following fields from the database,

• A user will make his selection by clicking on the title of a talk from this list,

• If Password enabled is on (Settings) then a pop up window will appear demanding the user enter their password. The application will not display any talk without entering the password. Passwords are set to the user and will work for all talks assigned to that user,

• Then, the user will click either “Submit This Talk”, “Edit/Review This Talk”,

• The system AUTOMATICALLY stores all presentations in the correct location,

• Use the Kiosk for new submissions and for CHANGES to talks,

• The system date/time stamps the last save and records that activity in the log file,

Review Station

Once users have loaded a new talk, or opened one previously submitted, they will be permitted to review and make changes to their talk as The Presenter opens their talk in PowerPoint “Normal mode”.

Automatic Tracking Log

The Presenter records changes to the status of the presentation files in a log file, and will alert the presentation manager of this activity. Users may repeat these activity as frequently as they like prior to examining their files with presentation management personnel, a step that we continue to recommend.
