SNRS Call for Student Poster Abstract Guidelines:
Purpose:
The Southern Nursing Research Society Annual Conference provides an opportunity for SNRS members to report ongoing and completed research as well as theoretical, conceptual, and methodological projects to colleagues. This call for abstract submissions is directed to student presentation of posters. The full conference will include podium presentations, poster sessions and symposia. Presentations will be selected on the basis of scientific merit by means of blind review.
Limited to one abstract submission that may be submitted in any category; however, at least one of the co-authors must be a current SNRS member at the time the abstract is submitted and at the time of the presentation.

Sign an agreement to present the research at the conference if selected. |

REGISTER FOR THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION, LODGING AND ANNUAL CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES. |

Have current membership in SNRS. |
d. |
Give permission for duplication of abstracts for inclusion in conference proceedings, the Sigma Theta Tau International registry and a future issue of Southern Online Journal of Nursing Research (SOJNR) along with the blind review of the abstract. |
Student posters that are presented in the student poster session are eligible for separate awards. Students whose abstracts are accepted for the regular poster session are not eligible for these awards.
Guidelines for Submission:
Abstracts must be submitted by midnight on September 19, 2008. Persons submitting abstracts will be notified by October 2008.
NOTE: Submissions which do not follow submission guidelines will be disqualified.
