SLIDE TRANSITIONS

Transitions are the effect of moving from one slide to another. The special effects on the elements contained within the slides are animation effects.

The Prevention template has built in transition effects on the Master Slide. It is recommended to use the same transition throughout a presentation. However, in a very long slide show you may wish to signal a shift to another major topic by changing the transition.

To apply Transitions to Individual Slides

  1. In Slide View, move to the slide that requires a transition effect.

  2. From the Menu Bar, select Slide Show, Slide Transition.

  3. From the Slide Transition dialog box, select desired transition

  4. Observe how a preview of the transition is displayed for you.

  5. When selected, choose Apply.

Apply to All will affect the whole presentation

To apply Transitions to Multiple Slides

1.       Go to Slide Sorter View

2.       Select the slides you wish to change the transitions on

To select multiple slides, select the first slide you wish to apply the different transition to and then hold down the Shift key to select the others ‑ selected slides will now have a darker border around them than non‑selected ones.

  1. From the Transition toolbar, select the desired transition effect

  2. You can test the transition applied by clicking on the Transition icon located under each slide
