WITH CLIPART
It's better NOT
to use clipart than poor quality clipart.
You
can download clipart directly from
Microsoft's Clip Gallery Live for free. If you are already
online
to the Internet, select the globe icon shortcut in the Microsoft
Clip Gallery dialog box, or in your
web browser, type the following in the address or location area:
http://cgl.microsoft.com/clipgallerylive/default.asp
Cropping
Your Clipart.
-
Select the clipart to crop
-
Open the Picture toolbar
-
Click on the crop tool on the Picture toolbar

Observe how the cropping tool icon is now attached

Move your cursor exactly over one of the handles
-
Drag to crop
-
Drag in reverse to uncrop
-
Click on the crop tool to end the cropping action
Applying the Watermark Technique

Select the clipart
-
Open the Picture Toolbar
-
Click on the Image Control icon on the Picture
toolbar

From the drop down menu, select Watermark
-
Adjust contrast, brightness etc., as desired
Accurately Adjusting the
Size of any 0bject
-
Select the object
-
On the Menu Bar, select Format Picture/Object
-
In the Format Picture/Object dialog box, select
size
-
Recommend Lock Aspect Ratio is selected

Key in desired size in the Height and Width boxes
