COPY, PASTE, & MOVE
SLIDES
Mastering
these edit functions are key to achieving a high productively level in
PowerPoint. You
can
take slides from an existing presentation and copy them into a new one.
Copying a slide from one presentation to another:

Open both presentations.

From the Menu Bar, select Window, Arrange All.

This places the 2 presentations side by side.

In each presentation choose the Slide
Sorter View.

You may select Slide
Sorter View either from the Menu
Bar (View, Slide Sorter) or select the Slide
Sorter View icon from the icon view list at the bottom
left‑hand corner of the screen (above the Start button and the Draw toolbar)

Right‑mouse drag and drop the source slide (the one
you wish to copy) over to the target presentation (where you wish to
copy it to).

As you right‑mouse drag the slide over, a large
insertion point indicates the position of where the slide will be
moved or copied to.

From the shortcut menu, select Copy here.

Close down the source presentation.

Note: The
copied slide will automatically take on the visual qualities of the
background of your native presentation.
